When your child comes home after a day at Encompass and says, "Grandma read me a story before lunch today!," believe them!  They are talking about Grandmas and Grandpas who are part of our Foster Grandparent Program.  Encompass is the first (and only) child care agency in the Green Bay area to offer a Foster Grandparent Program to our children.

This special group spends their time not only reading to the children, but also playing games with them, rocking them, and helping them with special projects.  Both the Grandparents and children form a unique bond and enjoy spending quality time together.  What a win-win-win relationship for Encompass, the children, and seniors!

The Foster Grandparent Program joins together two segments of the population--seniors and children.  The program provides seniors with a stipend for giving love and attention to children and provides children at seven Encompass Early Education and Care Centers with an all-around grandparent role model.
